ABOUT THIS STORE

MicroDuck Parts Store · For everyone who has struggled with sourcing parts

Building open-source robots, the most frustrating part is rarely the code — it's the parts.

A part suddenly goes out of stock, and after two weeks you find it can't ship. The camera ribbon cable you bought doesn't match the board. The servo specs look close, but once installed you realize the protocol is incompatible. To gather one set of standard hardware you visit three stores and pay shipping three times — and still end up one screw short. We've been through all of it ourselves.

The MicroDuck Parts Store wasn't a planned platform from the start — it's a shelf that these pain points gradually forced into existence. We can't do everything, but we try to do one thing well: help individual developers spend less time agonizing over part selection and fewer wasted trips when reproducing open-source robots.

A few small things we're working hard on

① Be clear about stock status

Parts available for order are marked "ships within 7 days", and upcoming items are announced in advance — no one places an order only to find an endless wait. Supply instability is reality; we choose to tell you upfront.

② Spell out compatibility

Which board a camera cable fits, which joint a servo matches, what a PoE HAT requires, exactly how many screws of which size are in the standard kit — we don't hide these details, because no one knows the cost of a wrong choice better than a developer.

③ Show where quality comes from

Sensor models, servo brands, battery specs, TF card use — key parameters are public and verifiable. We can't promise every item is the optimal choice, but at least you know what you're buying.

④ Consolidate scattered purchases into one order

Full kits, structural parts, electronics, standard hardware, and optional accessories together, with transparent pricing and one-click purchase. The assembly service is just one more option for those who want to save effort — not mandatory.

What's in the store now

Pre-order: Radxa ZERO 3W mainboard, 8M 219 camera, HD-1910-C001 serial bus servo ×15 set, 3D-printed structural parts kit (PLA + ASA reinforced joints), and assembly service.

Coming soon: the MicroDuck complete DIY kit (hassle-free).

Awaiting stock: debug board, VL53L8CX ToF module, NP-F550 battery pack, speaker module, 64GB high-speed TF card, standard hardware kit, roller skate kit, game controller, imu_to_dxl board, banana plug PCB, plus ZERO 3W 1GB/4GB/8GB and ZERO 3E gigabit Ethernet versions. Structural drawings are fully open-source with a public tolerance & interference checklist — a higher reproduction success rate is the sincerity we can offer.

The buying path is as simple as possible: click to buy → pay via QR → fill shipping info and order ID, then automatically redirect to "My Orders" to track progress by phone number anytime.

A few honest words

We know this store is far from perfect. The selection isn't big enough, some parts are still on the way, and customer service may not always be instant. But it's built little by little around real reproduction scenarios — every parameter, every photo, every "coming soon" comes from a concrete problem we hit while building robots ourselves.

If you find something wrong, missing, or that could be clearer while sourcing or assembling, please tell us. Doing hardware as an individual developer is hard enough; saving you a bit of time on this small shelf is the whole point.
